The following is a brief reflection of the history of UIS: In 1982, we started as Han Tang Engineering Company, a construction company that installed computer and telecommunication systems. As we continue to grow and expand, we have always maintained our foundation of superior technical know-how and quality services to our clients. Such mandate and practice have propelled us to the position of now a leading hi-tech specialty contractor in Taiwan in a relative short period of time. Over time Han Tang has gradually advanced into handling large-scale full service projects for major hi-tech industry clients in the region. In 1990, Han Tang merged with United Information Systems and was renamed Han Tang United Information Systems. The combined company has hence become the only large-scale engineering and construction full service company focused on serving the hi-tech microelectronics industry in the region. In 2002, we have renamed ourselves "United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. " and continue to use the same acronym of UIS. Looking forward to the future, our goal is to be one of the leading world-class full service design/build companies in the 21st century.

We attribute our continuing success as an industry leader to our clients who have trusted and supported us over the years. In order for us to remain a trusted long-term partner to them, we pledge that our primary responsibility is to care for and accommodate our clients' needs; that our first priority is to assist our clients in the growth and development of their businesses. In order to carry out these pledges and to respond to the worldwide competitive environment, we also pledge that we will continue to sharpen our technical knowledge and skills; that we will enhance our work efficiency by on time performance and that we will always anticipate contingencies and prepare for the unpredictable circumstances in today's volatile world environment.

UIS' VISION in this new century is to be "World Class Number One" within 30-years. In order to stay technically alert and progressive, we are humble enough to learn from our competitors from the more technically advanced countries as well as to staff our key engineering positions from those countries.

Our MISSION is "To assist our clients in achieving competitive advantage in the marketplace". To that end, we pledge that we would treat each one of our clients as a long-term partner; that we would endeavor to provide consistent best-in-class services to them.
